Aberdeen defender Jack out until January

Aberdeen, Scotland – Aberdeen revealed on Monday that defender Ryan Jack will require surgery to repair a fractured foot and is expected to be out until January.

Jack sustained the injury on Friday while serving as captain of Scotland's Under-21 side in a 2-0 defeat against the United States.

The 20-year-old has started eight of Aberdeen's nine league games, with the Dons sitting in third place in the Scottish Premier League, three points back of leaders Celtic.
