Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini will be out for the next three weeks because of a knee injury, which also rules him out of Belgium's upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

The 24-year-old picked up the injury in Everton's 2-2 draw with Wigan on Saturday, and he will now miss Belgium's qualifying matches with Serbia and Scotland.

Fellaini will also miss out on the Toffees league match at QPR following the international break, while his status in is doubt for the Merseyside derby against Liverpool one week later at Goodison Park.

Having started all seven league matches for Everton this season, Fellaini has tallied three goals.
