Organizers of a London conference say CONCACAF President Jeffrey Webb is ill and has been taken to a London hospital.

Leaders in Football host David Davies told the opening session on Wednesday that the 48-year-old Webb became ill on a flight to London to attend the event.

Details of Webb's condition were not immediately available.

The Cayman Islands native succeeded Jack Warner in May as president of soccer's governing body for North and Central America and the Caribbean.

Warner quit in 2011 in the middle of a corruption investigation.
