No. 16 Clemson goes into bye week with plenty of offensive momentum and some skeptics

Quarterback Tajh Boyd has been around Clemson long enough to know that he isn't only going to hear praise and optimism even with the No. 16 Tigers at 5-1 going into an off week.

Boyd figures some people will be asking if Clemson can be ready for its next game, even after bouncing back from a loss to Florida State with two wins.

The skepticism isn't farfetched, Clemson has had a habit of falling apart after success. The Tigers have gone through a stretch of losing three out of four games in all but two seasons since 2000.

But coach Dabo Swinney says this year's team is different. And the Tigers have a lot to play for in the Atlantic Coast Conference with Florida State losing Saturday night.
