WHAT'S AT STAKE

Oregon State has won three straight games to open the season for the first time since 2002, when the team won four straight. The three victories match the Beavers' win total for all of last season. Oregon State has won eight of the last 12 games against Washington State, including a 44-21 victory last season at Century Link Field.

KEY MATCHUP

Washington State's "Air Raid" attack under coach Mike Leach against Oregon State's defense. The Cougars are averaging 333.3 passing yards a game and quarterback Connor Halliday passed for 348 last week in a loss to No. 2 Oregon. While the Beavers are only allowing opponents an average of 83 yards rushing a game, they're allowing 315.7 yards passing — last in the Pac-12.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Washington State: WR Marquess Wilson. The junior had 12 catches for 182 yards and a touchdown last week against Oregon. Wilson leads the conference with 499 yards receiving, averaging nearly 100 ypg.

Oregon State: Mannion. The sophomore threw for a career-high 433 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winning 9-yard TD pass with 1:09 to go, in a 38-35 win over Arizona last weekend to earn Pac-12 player of the week honors. The week before Mannion threw for 379 yards against UCLA.
