Jackson State senior running back and kick returner B.J. Lee has ended his football career with the Tigers to concentrate on track and field.

Lee, who transferred to Jackson State from SMU, rushed for 119 yards on 34 carries in four games this season. He averaged 55.8 all-purpose yards per game.

The 5-foot-7, 185-pounder from Ridgeland, Miss., won the SWAC indoor title in the 60-meter dash last winter.
