WASHINGTON – The Washington Nationals are putting tickets for potential wild card and National League division series games on sale Friday.
The team with the best record in the major leagues also announced Tuesday it would sell some standing-room only tickets the day of each postseason game.
The Nationals have not made the playoffs since they began play in Washington in 2005, after moving from Montreal.
They entered Tuesday with a magic number of three for clinching at least a wild-card berth and 11 for wrapping up the NL East division title.
