ALLEN PARK, Mich. – The Detroit Lions have released cornerback Kevin Barnes.
The team announced the move Tuesday. Barnes was with the Lions for the first two games of the season but didn't make a tackle. Detroit has been having problems with its secondary because of injuries to Chris Houston and Louis Delmas.
The Lions also released running back Stephfon Green from the practice squad and signed cornerback Conroy Black to the practice squad.
