Fernandez-Castano up to 37th in world rankings

Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano collected his sixth European Tour title on Sunday and that helped him improve eight spots to 37th in this week's world rankings.

Rory McIlroy, who leads the PGA Tour money list and tops the race for the FedExCup, remained the No. 1 player in the world. He was again followed by Tiger Woods, Luke Donald, Lee Westwood and Adam Scott.

Jason Dufner and Bubba Watson both improved one spot to sixth and seventh. Webb Simpson slid a pair to No. 8 and was followed by Justin Rose.

Steve Stricker and Louis Oosthuizen exchanged places with the American inching up to 10th and the South African dipping to 11th.

Dustin Johnson held steady at No. 12 and was trailed by Keegan Bradley, Matt Kuchar, Phil Mickelson, Zach Johnson and Graeme McDowell.

Brandt Snedeker improved one to 18th and that bumped Sergio Garcia down one to 19th. Hunter Mahan rounded out the top 20 again this week.
