Former light welterweight champion Ricky Hatton announced at a press conference on Friday that he is coming out of retirement.

Hatton has not fought since a devastating loss to Manny Pacquiao in May 2009. He has a record of 45-2 with 32 knockouts.

The 33-year-old Hatton was stripped of his boxing license in 2010 following reports of drug use.

Hatton will return to the ring on Nov. 24 in Manchester. His opponent has yet to be named.
