Detroit, MI – The Detroit Tigers have activated utilityman Ryan Raburn off the 15-day disabled list.
Raburn had been sidelined since early August with a sprained right thumb. He was hitting a mere .172 with one homer in 63 games before going on the DL.
The Tigers also used the first day of roster expansion to add utilityman Don Kelly, infielder Danny Worth, catcher Bryan Holaday and pitcher Luis Marte from Triple-A Toledo.
In addition, pitcher Al Alburquerque will be recalled from Triple-A Toledo before Sunday's game.
