Genoa signed Italy striker Marco Borriello on Friday from Roma.
Borriello, 30, spent the second half of last season on loan with Juventus, and returns for his second stint at Genoa. He also played for the club in 2007-08. He has also played for AC Milan, among others, during his career.
He joins Genoa following the transfer of fellow Italian international Alberto Gilardino to Bologna. Borriello has played seven matches for Italy since his debut in 2008.
