Red Sox send Morales to DL; Aceves returns

Anaheim, CA – The Boston Red Sox placed left-handed pitcher Franklin Morales on the 15-day disabled list with left shoulder inflammation.

Morales has gone 3-4 with one save and a 3.77 ERA in 37 appearances this season.

The Red Sox also reinstated right-hander Alfredo Aceves to the active roster. He was suspended for three games on Saturday for conduct detrimental to the team.
