Arlington, TX – Baltimore Orioles catcher Matt Wieters left in the seventh inning of Wednesday's game against the Texas Rangers with a right shoulder contusion.
Wieters took a foul tip off the shoulder in the second inning, but remained in the game. He underwent X-rays after he was removed, which came back negative.
Tyler Teagarden replaced Wieters behind the plate.
