Denver, CO – The Colorado Rockies activated outfielder Michael Cuddyer off the 15-day disabled list on Thursday.
Cuddyer, who has been sidelined since August 1 with a strained right oblique, has batted .260 with 15 homers and 56 RBI through 98 contests this season.
Colorado optioned utilityman Matt McBride to Triple-A Colorado Springs to make room on the roster.
McBride hit .200 with a double and two RBI in nine games while making his MLB debut with the Rockies.
