Kieron Achara poured in 16 points and pulled down six rebounds as Great Britain completed preliminary-round action with a 90-58 decision over China on Monday.

Nate Reinking added 12 points and Drew Sullivan totaled 11 and five boards for the hosts, who had dropped their first four contests. Luol Deng was held to six points and three rebounds in just over 24 minutes.

Wang Zhizhi led the way with 11 points for the Chinese, who finished last in Group B with five losses in five matches. Yi Jianlian totaled 10 points and a game-high 14 rebounds in defeat.

Great Britain allowed the first seven points of the game, but reversed the momentum by going on a 22-5 run thereafter, taking a 22-12 lead on two Achara free throws with 2:14 left in the quarter.

It was 27-15 heading to the second and China never closed the gap below double digits the rest of the way. The Brits led 46-31 at the break and 72-48 after three quarters.
