Lucas Silva and Zinha scored in the first half as Toluca defeated Leon, 2-1, on Sunday to continue its perfect start in Mexico's Apertura.

Silva opened the scoring in the 16th minute and Zinha followed in the 38th as Toluca posted its third win from as many matches to start the season. Toluca, the only team with three wins to open the season, sits alone atop the table.

Eisner Loboa scored in first-half stoppage time for Leon, which lost its first game this season. Leon opened the season with two straight wins.

Also Sunday, Cristian Benitez scored his league-high fourth goal of the season in the 66th minute as America rallied for a 2-2 draw at Atlante.

On Saturday, Tigres settled for a 0-0 draw at Atlas to end its two-fixture win streak, Guadalajara secured its first point with a 0-0 tie at Cruz Azul, Paulo Da Silva scored in the 62nd as Pachuca beat Queretaro, 1-0, for its first win, and Monterrey handed Jaguares its third loss to open the season, 2-1.

On Friday, Matias Alustiza scored twice in the second half as Puebla rallied for a 2-2 tie to end a perfect start for Santos, Morelia scored two late goals to draw San Luis, 3-3, and Pablo Aguilar scored as Tijuana edged UNAM, 1-0.
