The United States women's Olympic basketball team continued their strong play in the group stage with an 88-61 win against the Czech Republic on Friday.

The Czech Republic team led the game 26-24 after the first quarter, but Team USA was dominant in the second and third quarters to pull away. The United States outscored the Czech Republic 46-21 over those two quarters to put the game out of reach.

Diana Taurasi led Team USA with 18 points while Tina Charles and Maya Moore were second and third with 16 and 14 points respectively. The United States didn't shoot the ball particularly well -- they were just 7-of-22 on 3-point attempts -- but they dominated the offensive glass, pulling down 27 offensive rebounds.

The Americans outrebounded the Czech team 62-39 and also dominated in assists 24-9. The United States leads Group A with a perfect 4-0 record. They will wrap up group play on Sunday against China.
