Updated

Day 6 at the 2012 Summer Olympic could be yet another banner day for Team USA in London, both in the pool and in the gym.

Just two days after winning gold in the team competition, Americans Gabby Douglas and Aly Raisman will go for gold in the women's individual all-around. The U.S. has taken home the gold in this competition in the past two Olympics -- will Gabby or Aly be able to add their name alongside Nastia, Carly and Mary Lou?

In the pool on Thursday, attention will once again be on Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte when the two duel in the men's 200m IM. Phelps is the two-time defending gold medalist in the event, meaning he'll be swimming for more history -- no male swimmer has ever won the same event in three consecutive Olympics. Lochte, the world record holder in the event, edged Phelps in 2011 World Championships by just 0.16 seconds, but will his grueling schedule leave him too tired to beat Phelps again?

What To Watch at the Olympics, Thursday, Aug.t 2:

Tennis -- Quarterfinals, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET, Bravo

It's a big day of tennis action at Wimbledon as the tournament enters its quarterfinals stage. Serena Williams faces Caroline Wozniacki in women's singles and will also pair up with sister Venus in women's doubles against an Italian duo. Maria Sharapova also meets Kim Clijsters in women's singles.

On the men's side quarterfinals, No. 1 Roger Federer takes on American John Isner, and No. 2 Novak Djokovic meets Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Track Cycling -- Women's and Men's Team Sprint, 12:45 p.m. ET, NBC

Have you watched track cycling? No? It's pretty nuts! In Team Sprint (women's at 12:59 p.m., men's at 1:15 p.m.), two teams start on opposite sides of the track and race, but at the end of each lap, the team's leading rider pulls off, leaving their teammates to continue until just one rider remains (men do three laps with three riders, the women over two laps with two). Oh, and it's fast. Very fast.

Gymnastics - Women's Individual All-Around, 8 p.m. ET, NBC (live at 11:30 a.m. on NBC Live Extra)

It's Gabby Douglas and Aly Raisman for the United States, and yes, even Raisman is surprised she's here, only qualifying ahead of Jordyn Wieber after the performance of her life on Sunday.

Countries can only send two athletes each to the individual all-around finals.

Swimming - Men's 200m IM, 8 p.m. ET, NBC (live at 2:26 p.m. on NBC Live Extra)

In addition to the showdown in the men's 200m IM (3:19 p.m. ET), Ryan Lochte will also swim in the 200m backstroke finals, an event where his biggest competitor for gold is teammate Tyler Clary. On the women's side, Rebecca Soni, who set a world record in the event in Wednesday's semifinals, will be the heavy favorite to win gold in women's 200m breaststroke (2:40 p.m.).

Rowing - Women's Eight gold medal final, 8 p.m. ET, NBC (click here to learn the results)

NBC will televise the United States' women's eight rowing team going for a second-straight Olympic gold Thursday night in primetime (very tape-delayed).

Judo - Women's 78-kg finals, 4:30 p.m., MSNBC (live at 11 a.m. on NBC Live Extra)

Kayla Harrison will have a chance to win America's first-ever gold medal in judo on Thursday. She faces Brazil's Mayra Aguiar in the semifinals at 9:14 a.m. ET.

Elsewhere In London: Team USA men's basketball takes on Nigeria at 5:15 p.m. ET (NBC Sports Network) ... the United States faces Brazil in men's volleyball at 3 p.m. on NBC (LIVE!) ... in men's water polo, the U.S. meets Great Britain in the pool at 1:20 p.m., live on NBC.
