Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte and Missy Franklin will be among those swimming for gold on Tuesday.
The swimming competition continues at the London Olympics Tuesday, with four more gold medals on the line. United States' headliners Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte and Missy Franklin will be among those in action.
Phelps will attempt to win his first medal of the 2012 Olympics when he races in the men's 200-meter butterfly final. Phelps, who holds the world record in the 200-meter butterfly, failed to medal in his first Olympic race. The men's 200-meter butterfly is scheduled for 2:49 p.m. ET.
Franklin, fresh of her first career gold medal in the 100-meter backstroke, will look to add a second gold to her collection in the 200-meter freestyle. Franklin will face some tough competition including world record holder Federica Pellegrini. The race is scheduled to begin at 2:41 p.m. ET.
The United States men's 4x200-meter freestyle relay team could also go for gold Tuesday. They will first have to qualify for the final earlier in the day. The men's 4x200-meter freestyle team includes Lochte who will attempt to rebound from a lackluster performance Monday. Qualification begins at 6:02 a.m. ET with the final set for 3:51 p.m. ET.
The other final of the day will be the women's 200-meter individual medley. The United States will have to competitors in the race including world record holder Ariana Kukors. The final is set for 3:43 p.m. ET.
The races will air on-delay beginning at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. All of the events can be streamed live at NBCOlympics.com.
