China's Lin wins 69kg weightlifting contest

London, England – China's Lin Qingfeng earned the gold medal in the 69-kilogram weightlifting competition Tuesday at the London Olympics.

Lin topped all competitors by lifting 157kg in the snatch, then secured gold with a 187kg clean and jerk. His total of 344kg was 11 more than silver medalist Triyatno of Indonesia.

Razvan Constantin Martin, from Romania, took bronze with a total of 332kg.
