Nevriye Yilmaz led a balanced attack with 11 points, 13 rebounds and five steals, as Turkey held off the Czech Republic, 61-57, in the women's basketball tournament.
Emine Tugba Palazoglu and Bahar Caglar added 11 points apiece for the Turks, who dominated Angola on Saturday.
Jana Vesela ended with 19 points for the Czech Republic, which opened the tournament with a loss to China on Saturday.
Holding a 49-45 lead with 6:43 to play, Turkey went on an 8-2 spurt to create some distance. Saziye Ivegin made a pair of three-pointers during the flurry to give the Turks a 57-47 margin.
The Czech Republic never got closer than four the rest of the way.
