American Ariel Hsing advanced to the third round in women's table tennis on Sunday, but dropped her second match of the day to second-ranked Li Xiaoxia.
Hsing began Sunday with a four-set victory over Xia Lian Ni of Luxembourg, but she was bested in six games by China's Li in the evening.
Brit Joanna Parker failed to make it out of the second round, falling to German Kristin Silbereisen as the women filled out the fourth-round bracket.
On the men's side, they concluded second-round play. Great Britain's Paul Drinkhall was a four-set winner over Singapore's Zi Yang. He'll face eighth- ranked German Dimitrij Ovtcharov in the third round on Monday.
