Los Angeles, CA –  Lithuanian qualifier Ricardas Berankis defeated sixth-seeded Marinko Matosevic, 7-5, 6-1, in the semifinals of the Farmers Classic on Saturday.

Berankis fired three aces and didn't face a break point in the match, which last just 70 minutes. Berankis upset fourth-seeded Frenchman Nicolas Mahut on Friday to reach an ATP World Tour semifinal match for the second time in his career.

The 22-year-old Berankis, ranked No. 141 in the world, will face either Rajeev Ram or Sam Querrey in Sunday's final.
