Toronto FC, Aceval part ways

Toronto, ON – Toronto FC and defender Miguel Aceval agreed to part ways Thursday, when his contract has been terminated by mutual consent.

Aceval, 29, joined Toronto FC in the offseason and had two assists in five MLS appearances. He also scored in the CONCACAF Champions League against Santos.

Toronto FC will host the Houston Dynamo on Saturday.
