The Philadelphia Flyers signed restricted free agent forward Jakub Voracek to a multi-year contract on Thursday.
According to CSNPhilly.com, the deal is worth $17 million over four years.
"We are happy to have Jake under contract and look forward to him being a big part of our future," said Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren.
The 22-year-old Voracek recorded a career-high 18 goals and collected 31 assists in 78 games last season, his first as a Flyer after arriving from Columbus as part of the return in a trade for Jeff Carter.
The No. 7 overall pick in the 2007 NHL Draft, the Czech Republic native has totaled 57 goals and 183 points in 319 career games with the Blue Jackets and Flyers.
