Washington, DC – The New York Mets activated outfielder Jason Bay from 15-day disabled list on Tuesday.
Bay suffered a concussion while slamming into the outfield wall in a game against the Reds on June 15.
In 22 games this season, Bay is hitting .187 with four homers and six RBI.
To make room on the roster, the Mets designated infielder Omar Quintanilla for assignment.
