Top-seeded David Ferrer has advanced to the finals of the Swedish Open after ousting Grigor Dimitrov in straight sets.

The No. 5-ranked Ferrer, who reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon and the semifinals at the French Open this year, completed the 6-3, 7-5 victory over Dimitrov when the Bulgarian put a return into the net.

The Spaniard will face either Jan Hajek of the Czech Republic or second-seeded Nicolas Almagro of Spain, who play later Saturday. The final is Sunday.
