Oklahoma City Thunder center Kendrick Perkins underwent surgery on his right groin, the team announced Thursday.

Perkins suffered the injury in Game 4 of the Western Conference quarterfinals against Dallas, but played through the injury in the playoffs.

Perkins, who averaged 5.1 points and 6.6 rebounds during the regular season, is expected to resume normal offseason activities in 4-to-6 weeks.
