Wallace agrees to return to Nets

The Brooklyn Nets officially re-signed forward Gerald Wallace on Wednesday.

Terms were not released per club policy, but ,according to the New York Post, the deal is good for four years and $40 million deal.

"Re-signing Gerald was a top priority this offseason, and we are very pleased that he will continue to be a Net," Nets general manager Billy King said. "He is a proven veteran who is a leader both on and off the court, and his style of play is critical to the team's success."

Wallace was acquired from Portland on March 15 in exchange for center Mehmet Okur, forward Shawne Williams and a 2012 first-round draft pick. He averaged 15.2 points and 6.8 rebounds in 16 games with the Nets.
