The San Antonio Spurs re-signed swingman Danny Green on Wednesday.

As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

"We are thrilled to have Danny returning to San Antonio," Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said. "It was a pleasure watching Danny grow and develop this past season. We think he will only continue to mature and get better, and we're happy that this will be happening with the San Antonio Spurs."

Green, who signed with the Spurs as a free agent on March 6, 2011 from the Reno Bighorns of the NBA Development League, appeared in all 66 games last season and posted averages of 9.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists.

The former North Carolina Tar Heel scored in double figures 25 times last year and registered 20-or-more points in a game four times.

Green appeared in 14 postseason games -- 12 starts -- for the Spurs in 2011-12 and put up averages of 7.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists.
