Pit collision sends 2 to hospital in Toronto

Two members of IndyCar driver Sebastien Bourdais' crew have been taken to a hospital with leg and ankle injuries after a collision in pit lane during a Honda Indy Toronto practice session.

The accident occurred when driver Justin Wilson struck the back of Bourdais' car Friday morning during the first of two practice sessions.

Chuck Homan, a member of Bourdais' Dragon Racing team, has leg injury. Pit crew teammate Raffi Aroyan has an ankle injury, IndyCar announced.

Two others were hurt in the accident and were treated and released from the infield care center. They were Dragon Racing's David Martin and Michael Cole, a member of Wilson's Dale Coyne Racing team.

Qualifying takes place Saturday. The race is Sunday.
