Stars sign Rome

Frisco, TX – The Dallas Stars signed defenseman Aaron Rome to a three-year contract on Sunday.

Rome, who will turn 29 before the start of the season, set career highs with four goals and 10 points for the Vancouver Canucks last season. He was also a minus-four.

In his career, the 6-foot-1-inch, 218-pound defenseman has scored six goals, picked up 16 assists and posted a minus-nine in 174 games.
