The Miami Marlins have optioned outfielder Chris Coghlan to Triple-A New Orleans and recalled outfielder Scott Cousins from the Zephyrs.
Coghlan, a first-round pick by Miami back in 2006, was batting a meager .140 with one home run and 10 runs batted in over 39 games for the Marlins.
Cousins, 27, posted a .292 average with seven homers and 32 RBI in 50 games with New Orleans.
