Yankees activate Robertson from DL

Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Yankees activated closer David Robertson from the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday.

The right-hander hasn't pitched for the Yankees since Apr. 6 because of a strained left groin. He allowed only one hit in three appearances and converted both of his save opportunities prior to the injury.

Pitcher Cesar Cabral was outrighted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in a corresponding move. The lefty recorded only three outs while allowing three runs on four hits and walking two in four appearances.
