Cincinnati, OH – The Detroit Tigers activated center fielder Austin Jackson from the 15-day disabled list and placed shortstop Jhonny Peralta on the paternity leave list on Saturday.
The 25-year-old Jackson has been out since May 17 with an abdominal strain and is hitting .331 with five homers, 17 RBI and 29 runs in 36 games this season.
Peralta is batting .261 with four homers and 16 RBI in 53 games this year.
In addition, Detroit recalled infielder Hernan Perez from Single-A Lakeland.
