The American twin Bryan bothers, Bob and Mike, secured a berth in the men's French Open doubles final, where they will meet the top-seeded tandem of Belarusian Max Mirnyi and Canadian Daniel Nestor on Saturday.
The second-seeded former world No. 1 Bryans handled a 10th-seeded duo of Pakistan's Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Netherlands Antilles' Jean-Julien Rojer 6-3, 7-6 (8-6), while the reigning French Open champions Mirnyi and Nestor erased a 14th-seeded Italian pairing of Daniele Bracciali and Potito Starace 6-3, 6-4 in Thursday's semifinal action at Roland Garros.
The 34-year-old reigning Wimbledon champion Bryan brothers own 11 Grand Slam doubles titles overall, including a 2003 French championship. They have also finished as the runner-up in Paris on two occasions and were the runners-up at this year's Australian Open.
The 34-year-old Mirnyi is a five-time Grand Slam doubles champ, while the 39-year-old Nestor is a seven-time major doubles winner.
The 2012 French doubles champions will split $425,000.
