Kansas City, MO – Kansas City pitcher Felipe Paulino left Wednesday night's start against the Minnesota Twins in the first inning because of an apparent leg injury.
Paulino was struck with a line drive off the bat of Twins outfielder Ben Revere, the first hitter of the game. Paulino remained in the game to face three more hitters, but then left the game.
Paulino entered the night with a 1.70 earned run average this season in 37 innings.
