For the first time since late December, veteran Kings forward Simon Gagne returned to the lineup for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Gagne, a 12-year pro, had been sidelined since December 26 after suffering a concussion but made his way back to the ice at Staples Center on Monday.

The 32-year-old totaled seven goals and 17 points in just 34 regular-season games, his fewest since making 25 appearances in 2007-08 for Philadelphia.

It's the second career Finals appearance for the Quebec native, who registered a pair of goals in a six-game Flyers loss to the Blackhawks in 2010.
