RALEIGH, North Carolina – Unite States sprinter Tyson Gay will run his first race in nearly a year this weekend's Adidas Grand Prix, Reuters reports.
Gay, who has been fighting a nagging hip injury, is running in a bid to keep his Olympic dreams alive.
Gay will not race Jamaican world champion Yohan Blake in the featured 100 metres, however, and will instead compete in a preliminary race at the Diamond League meeting, Reuters reports.
