The San Diego Padres activated outfielder Mark Kotsay from the 15-day disabled list and infielder Logan Forsythe from the 60-day DL on Sunday.
Kotsay went on the DL May 19 with a lower back strain and is batting .294 with one homer and six RBI in 18 games this season. He also began the season on the DL with a strained right calf and was reinstated on April 16.
Forsythe has been on the DL since March 26 with a fractured left foot, which required surgery. He hit .259 during a 16-game stint in Triple-A Tucson.
The Padres also placed infielder Andy Parrino on the 15-day DL with an injured right hand and optioned catcher Yasmani Grandal to Tucson.
