Minnesota Vikings fullback Jerome Felton was arrested by police on a driving while impaired charge following a traffic stop.

Felton was arrested by police in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and booked into the Hennepin County jail early Saturday morning.

He was charged with second-degree DWI and refusing to submit to a chemical test, according to jail records. He posted $12,000 bond and was released from custody at 11:47 a.m.

Felton, 25, was signed by the Vikings in March after spending last season with the Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers. He played his first three NFL seasons with the Detroit Lions.
