Denver, CO – The Colorado Rockies recalled pitcher Rex Brothers Saturday from Triple-A Colorado Springs and optioned pitcher Carlos Torres to the Sky Sox.
Brothers, who was optioned to Colorado Springs on May 20, began the season on the Rockies' opening-day roster and has a 2-2 record with a 5.87 earned run average in 22 appearances this season.
Torres appeared in four games with the Rockies, allowing three runs on five hits and five walks over six innings of work.
