The Chicago Cubs activated pitcher Carlos Marmol from the 15-day disabled list Monday and optioned pitcher Rafael Dolis to Triple-A Iowa.
Marmol, who is available for Monday's game against San Diego, was sent to the DL on May 12 with a right hamstring strain after he left a May 11 matchup against Milwaukee with two outs in the seventh inning.
The 29-year-old righty is 0-1 with two saves and a 6.35 earned run average in 15 relief appearances for the Cubs this season.
Dolis, 24, holds a record of 2-4 with four saves and a 5.68 ERA in 23 relief appearances for the Cubs this year.
