Diamondbacks' Hudson activated from DL

The Arizona Diamondbacks activated pitcher Daniel Hudson from the 15-day disabled list on Sunday.

Hudson, 25, was placed on the DL with a right shoulder impingement on April 21, retroactive to April 19. He made one rehab start for the Triple-A Reno Aces on May 21 and allowed two runs over five innings.

Hudson is 1-1 with a 6.00 earned run average in three starts with the Diamondbacks this season.

To make room for Hudson, the team optioned catcher Konrad Schmidt to the farm club.
