Elliott Sadler will start on the pole for Sunday's Pioneer Hi-Bred 250 Nationwide Series race after posting the fastest lap in qualifying at Iowa Speedway.
Sadler turned a lap at 133.911 mph during Saturday's qualifying for his second pole of the season and the 13th of his Nationwide career. He also won the pole at this 0.875-mile track last August.
Sam Hornish Jr. earned the outside pole with a lap at 133.294 mph. Hornish Jr. was quickest in practice earlier in the day.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr., the current points leader and winner of both Nationwide races at Iowa last year, qualified third. Michael McDowell and Justin Allgaier rounded out the top-five.
Rookie Austin Dillon took the sixth spot, followed by Brian Scott and Darrell Wallace Jr., who will make his series debut, driving for Joe Gibbs Racing.
Danica Patrick and Parker Kligerman qualified ninth and 10th, respectively.
Stenhouse presently holds a 23-point lead over Sadler.
The 250-lap race at Iowa is scheduled to start just after 2 p.m. (ET).
