FC Porto completed another dominant season in the Portuguese Liga on Saturday as Kleber scored a hat trick in a 5-2 Porto victory at Rio Ave.
Porto has won the last two league titles and lost just once in league play during that time, and Saturday's match was never going to be a second defeat for the champions.
Goals from Djalma and James Rodriguez put Porto in control in the first 20 minutes, while Kleber netted all three of his goals in the last 40 minutes to seal the win.
Benfica ends the campaign in second place, six points adrift of Porto, after winning 3-1 at Setubal on Saturday.
The home side was handed an early lead courtesy of a Rafael Lopes goal, but Bruno Cesar scored a goal in each half before Oscar Cardozo capped the win with his 20th goal of the campaign.
Third-place Braga traveled to fourth-place Sporting Lisbon and came away with a 3-2 defeat as Sporting's Ricky van Wolfswinkel scored a hat trick, although Lima did score from the penalty spot in the 88th minute for Braga to finish tied atop the scoring chart with 20 goals.
Other results on the final day of the season saw Olhanense top Beira Mar, 2-1, Ze Luis scored twice to lift Gil Vicente to a 3-1 victory over Feirense, Academica handed Guimaraes a 2-1 home defeat after Edinho scored the winning goal in the 81st minute, Pacos Ferreira and Maritimo battled to a 1-1 draw, and last-place Uniao Leiria lost 3-2 against Nacional as Mateus scored twice.
