The Los Angeles Dodgers have placed infielder/outfielder Jerry Hairston Jr. on the 15-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain.
The move is retroactive to May 7.
Hairston is batting .315 with three doubles, a home run and four RBI in 19 games with Los Angeles this season.
The Dodgers recalled infielder Justin Sellers from Triple-A Albuquerque to fill the roster spot.
Sellers is hitting .150 with three runs scored and two doubles in 10 games with the Dodgers this year.
