Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles Dodgers designated pitcher Mike MacDougal for assignment and were informed that pitcher Ronald Belisario was reinstated from the restricted list by Major League Baseball on Thursday.
MacDougal has pitched in seven games out of the bullpen this season and has given up five runs and nine hits with six walks over 5 2/3 innings.
Belisario was suspended by the league for 25 games in the offseason for failing to comply with the drug policy.
