Houston Astros first baseman Carlos Lee left Friday's game against the Cincinnati Reds in the first inning after rolling his left ankle.

Reds shortstop Zack Cozart ripped a ball to third base leading off the bottom of the inning, but Chris Johnson fired a low throw to Lee at first base. The ball got away from him and he rolled his ankle while chasing it down in foul territory.

Lee was helped to his feet by the Astros trainers and walked off the field. Matt Downs took over at first base,

Lee, 36, has started all 20 of the Astros games at first base this season and is hitting .273 with two home runs and 13 RBI.
